Make Space for Your Emotions.

You may have learned not to voice your emotions while growing up, being in relationships, or through your professional training.

You may also be experiencing Alexithymia, and have trouble recognizing or processing your emotions.

Whether you let them out or not, your emotions are with you.

If you do not recognize, make space for, and name your emotions you may notice a negative impact on your health (physical, mental, and social).

Call to action:

  • Make an effort to check in with your emotions throughout the day.
  • Ask yourself how you’re feeling after you get assigned a task, have tough conversations, or make decisions.
