Keynotes, Workshops, and Trainings


Signature Trainings:

  • Women in Leadership: Facing Stereotypes and Bias
    • Attendees will be aided in reflecting on their own intersectional identities and the ways in which gender-identity may have or be impacting their leadership experiences or opportunities. This will include self-reflection, small group discussions, and review of literature on barriers and facilitators regarding women in leadership. Attendees will take away strategies they can use in advocating for themselves and others in leadership spaces.
  • Overcoming the unhelpful thinking habits sabotaging your... (leadership) or (team cohesion).
    • Attendees will learn skills to recognize, define, and reframe their negative thinking. They will be aided in identifying common unhelpful thinking habits related to leadership, as well as strategies to overcome self-imposed limitations on their leadership abilities. 
  • Communication strategies that really work... (as a leader) or (with patients/clients).
    • Attendees learn how to harness effective communication strategies, including distinguishing between making empathetic and sympathetic statements, increasing comfort with silence, and harnessing open-ended questions to foster better professional relationships. 
  • Dear Woman, You Are a Leader: Don’t Let Your Negative Thoughts Tell You Otherwise.  
    • Attendees will learn skills to recognize, define, and reframe their negative thinking. They will be aided in identifying common unhelpful thinking habits related to leadership, as well as strategies to overcome self-imposed limitations on their leadership abilities. The presentation highlights the realities of women leaders facing stereotypes and biases that create challenges internal and external to themselves.
  • Demystifying Mental Health
    • Attendees will learn about the requested mental health topic (e.g. Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Grief). This includes demystifying the diagnosis, the evidence-based treatments, and self-directed strategies to start practicing today to improve mood.
