We’ll work together one-on-one for 50-minute appointments, after an initial 30-minute goodness of fit meeting, where you’ll be able to focus exclusively on you in the comfort of your home or office (or anywhere else that’s private and confidential) using a secure teleconferencing platform.

  • If you are self-referring, I am currently serving therapy clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  • If you are referred by your EAP or found me through Wapiti Medical Staffing Company, I am currently serving therapy clients in PSYPACT states: https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap

It is important to ditinguish coaching from therapy. Coaching and therapy are separate types of treatment and we will only engage in one of those treatments. In our free goodness-of-fit appointment we can mutually decide which one (coaching or therapy) feels like the best fit.

What This Looks Like:

Clients

I work with women through various stages of their career. Whether you’re starting out in your career or thinking about retirement in the next few years, I understand that there are unique challenges that present at each of these career stages. Clients must be older than 18 years of age.

How I help

We work together to identify areas for growth, overcome roadblocks, and harness your strengths to create healthier thought patterns and ways of caring for yourself. A Motivational Interviewing approach helps you in assessing your stage of change, meeting you where you are, and elucidating the reasons, purpose, and roadblocks of your desired change. While Problem Solving strategies provide an approach to navigate difficulties. And Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques are utilized to help you identify and change negative thoughts and beliefs that contribute to self-doubt, anxiety, and burnout.

Testimonials.

Frequency/Duration

I am dedicated to helping my clients feel better and to do so quickly. I find that 10 appointments is often what we need, though we’ll collaborate to develop a plan that’s specific to you.

How We Do Our Work

We will meet through a HIPAA compliant teleconferencing platform/video. You must be located in PA or NJ at the time of your appointment.

When conducting telehealth, I recommend that you find a safe and secure location to meet, for confidentiality. A place you can go to carve out time where you will not be interrupted. It’s best to use headphones that can protect your privacy, but also to improve audio quality. You may wish to have appointments at home or in your office, or even some women choose to do so in their car.

Set up a free goodness of fit meeting with me where I can hear more about what you’re looking for from therapy and we can outline some of the ways I’d be beneficial to your growth and discovery. If we are not a good fit, I will be happy to provide referral resources.

I aim to work with your schedule and ensure that therapy can be fit in. I also like to model the same boundaries that I encourage my clients to take on, so I do have set working hours. For that reason, I allow flexibility in scheduling weekly or biweekly.

  • Payment is accepted through credit or debit card and is expected at the time of the appointment.
  • Insurance is not accepted.
    • At your request, a superbill will be provided so that you can submit for reimbursement from your insurance company.
    • Most clients find it easiest to submit superbills on a monthly basis to their insurance company (see Resources page).

How Do I Choose Between Coaching And Therapy Services?

Coaching and therapy are both goal focused, however how we meet those goals will be different. Coaching appointments are often short-term (can be as brief as one appointment) and do not involve clinical assessment/formal diagnosis.

Therapy often includes multiple appointments, though the amount and frequency of these appointments will be mutually negotiated by both of us and we will discuss diagnoses and related evidence-based treatments.

If you are not sure, this is what the initial goodness of fit 30 minutes conversation can help provide clarity on and why there is a fee. I value both your and my time.
